Our multidisciplinary team is here to help you, whatever your needs may be. From discovering whether you have CMT, to understanding the implications for you and your loved ones, to coping with symptoms and functional limitations and understanding CMT's biological basis while having access to the latest research and clinical trials in CMT. Our knowledgeable and caring team will be by your side every step of the way.
Multidisciplinary care: Our CMT clinic team includes a CMT Neurologist, a nurse coordinator, a genetic counselor, a physical therapist, an orthotist, a social worker and a clinical research coordinator. During your visit, each professional will evaluate you. They will address your questions and needs in a comprehensive way.
Clinical research: Our CMT center of excellence is a member of the NIH Inherited Neuropathies Consortium (INC). Interested patients may be eligible to be included in natural history studies and a clinical trial registry for participation in future studies. Cutting edge translational research: Our clinic is integrated in the University of Miami CMT Translational Program giving our patients access to one of the most advanced genetics laboratory in the world. Patients with unidentified types of CMT are offered to be included in our gene discovery program which applies next generation sequencing technology and advanced research to identify new genetic causes of CMT.

Take I-95 N to exit 3-A SR 836 W (toward Airport/ UM/ Jackson/ VA Hospitals) on the left.

Exit SR 836 at NW 12th Ave. Be sure to change into the right-hand lane.

Take first right onto NW 14th St. Professional Arts Center will be on your right side.
From Points East

Take I-395 W to NW 12th Ave exit. Be sure to change into the right-hand lane.

Take first right onto NW 14th St. Professional Arts Center will be on your right side.
From Points West

Take SR 836 E and exit at NW 17th Ave. Keep right at the fork and follow signs for NW 17th S.

Merge right onto NW 17th Ave.

Continue 3 blocks and turn left on NW 7th St.

Follow NW 7th St and turn left onto NW 12th Ave.

Go over the 12th Ave bridge and under the SR 836 expressway.
